Log write errors

Post by neoraptor »

I have problems with my logs : most of them are corrupted (few lines per log).
Do you know how to solve this? Is it a firmware bug?

I attached one of my faulty log : rc_2.log with errors (lines 17158, 17159, 17160, 17161, 17162, 17163, 17164, 17166, 17167, 17168, 17203, 17581, 17582). Sometimes, end of line is also false (line 17163 : only \n instead of \r\n).

Here is the log : https://mega.co.nz/#!1JEgCahJ!faudyWvAK ... grOtNi7anw

Any suggestions are welcome

Hi,

What firmware version are you running? you can check the firmware by clicking Help / About while connected with RaceAnalyzer.

I run firmware 1.1.13 (the latest, I think).

My unit is mounted in the tail of my motorcycle and there can be a few vibration.

Thank you.

Super high vibration of the unit *may* cause a contact issue with the SD card connections. Can you test logging with the unit static on your bench top? We've seen no problems in cars with solid engine mounts, however, so this is a long shot.

Also, could you attach your RCP configuration file here as well, so we can see how you have your unit configured?

Thank you,
