DCOE Left-side TPS

Post by bluphoto »

Hi guys,
I'm building a 1967 GT6 mark 1 with triple weber DCOE and am facing a decision about controlling the ignition advance etc.
I know there's a choice between MAP and TPS, and I think I'm happy to go with the TPS as both have their merits.

The issue I'm facing is that my linkages all connect to the three carbs on the right side (looking from the trumpet ends), so I need my TPS to mount on the left-side.

Are there TPS available to mount on the left-side? All the install's I've seen have them mounted on the right side?

thanks
Guy

You might want to look for a TPS that is through-hole, so it can be mounted in either direction. Sorry, we don't have a part # for you, but you could browse various parts catalogs. Hope someone else has a suggestion!
