"Timer Speed" OS X the same as "Clock divider

Post by alangbaker »

It's frustrating that when I look at the page for installing and configuring my CoilX RPM signal conditioner, there are things I'm supposed to set that don't look the same as in the OS X version of RCP...

That isn't an operating system issue. Clock Divider was in the old RaceAnalyzer application. It was renamed to "Timer Speed" in the new version.

Then someone badly needs to update this page:
select RPM for channel Name
select a sample rate. 10 to 20Hz is usually a good value to start with.
in advanced settings, select Mode = RPM, Timer Options = CLOCK / 128, and pulse per revolution to match the number of cylinders.
