RaceCapture App 1.11.0 App odd display behavior on Win 11

Post by steved0x »

Has anyone else seen this? I haven't run the RCP app for a while, and today I went to run it, and the display seems to be cropped, like a strip at the top is missing, so I can't get back the home screen once I click one of the 3 main choices at startup. The little bar at the top with the connection info seems to be missing, and also I have to click my mouse a few mm below where I am trying to click or else it won't register the click (or it clicks the item above).

In the attached screenshot I have just clicked "GPS" but "Race Tracks" got selected. Also notice the cropping at the left side and top. Resizing/maximizing the window doesn't resolve.

Is there any additional info I can provide to help?

In the meantime, I can do everything on my phone so I am all good.

Thanks

Steve

Weird, we have not seen that before.

Does it still happen if you re-size the window? What computer is this running on?

Resizing or maximizing does nothing and also I tried rebooting.

Computer is a Dell Precision 7510 running Windows 10 Enterprise Version 10.0.16299

Probably video drivers or something. It is a relatively new behavior though.

Thank you. Are you saying the problem started happening recently on the same computer, using the same version of the Race Capture app? Did a windows update happen recently, or video driver changed?

What type of video hardware is it, and what resolution is it running?
