Scripting On Android

Post by d_gatorfan »

Looks like on android, when I copy and paste a sample script from the wiki to the app, all of the carriage returns are being stripped out.

This causes an issue when there is a "--" comment, anything that ends up on the same line is considered a comment.
See attached screenshot.

Also, can you allow the script window be expanded to the whole area for cases when the log display isn't needed. Right now on my phone, i can only see about 4 lines max of the script at a time, and scrolling is difficult. Would also be nice to suppress the popup keyboard when reading a script. Maybe a button to call up the keyboard if needed.

In the Windows version a vertical scrollbar in the script window would be helpful.

Thanks
Dennis

Hi,

It looks like the carriage returns might be stripped out outside of the app.

Can you try sending the script in an email, for example, and then try pasting that?

You are absolutely right, looks like Firefox for android is the culprit. Works ok when i copy from chrome.
