Export log to KML File

Post by carlos88 »

Does anybody know if this is possible with Racecapture logs? It would be neat to lay on top of google maps with your other friends laps and check out each others lines.

Hi,

The file is plain CSV, so it should be easy to convert to a KML file.

However, you can do exactly this with Podium - you can upload your log files for comparison of data, including comparing driven line.

Here are some examples:

Two laps selected:
https://podium.live/events/luckydog-sal ... laps[]=235

You can zoom in on the lap to see the driven line. Our track maps are drawn precisely down the center line of the track, so you can get an idea of how the line is driven.

Try uploading one of your log files so we can see your laps too! :)
