some Mini maps

i used some free time to convert the data from the 123Ignition Mini dizzy to MJLJ maps. i tried my best but maybe there are some mistakes, so be carefull and use common sense.
the data is from here http://tdcperformance.ca/index.htm and i named the maps according to the switch position

maps 0,1,2,3 are the 28° group, 4,5,6,7 are the 30° group, 8,9,A,B are the 32° group and C,D,E,F are the 34° group

Hello class.

Very good job, I am going to see how it lines up each of these graphs.

123 i read that distributors are very bad, breakthrough curves are not good.

ALDON Yellow and Red are the best, there is no way to find curves forward and maping for MJLJ?

This i read in another forum:

"i know people who have put this distributor, and the impression General who tested it is a real shit, and the curves are preset more aggressive and more slow, there is hardly any difference. Lo measured in Dyno and indeed not any Different him dizzy. the aldon its the best for race-red and street-yellow "

honestly, i have used all of them, Aldon yellow and red and the 123. thats why i use MJLJ now :wink:

in my experience the Aldon are very overrated today. they are very good dizzies, no question. but how could 2 dizzies cover all possibilities of camshaft/displacement/compression ratio? some years ago Aldon maybe was the best you could get. sadly i found out that most "old" engine tuners still think that Aldon is the only way to go, and even say "no curve inside the 123 makes any sense". and they "proofed" that at the dyno.
i won't say the 123 is any better but it is not worse than an Aldon. i fitted the 123 to some engines and asked the driver what he/she thinks and played with the settings. finally they all where impressed, the engines runed smoother and pulled stronger. the engines ranged from 998ccm to 1275 and from mild to wild, some with modded factory dizzy some with Aldon.
so maybe it works, maybe it doesn't.

sadly i have sold my Aldons (i sold all dizzies i had) without checking the curve, but i don't know anyone with a testing bench so i couldn't check it anyway
