hey i have just plugged it all in for the first time and the presure is instantly reading 102 is this correct :| im gettin worried lol

That's perfect - it's just atmospheric pressure. Go look up today's pressure for where you are on the BBC weather pages on t'internet - should be spot on (+/- 2kpa will be fine - that's 2% after all, which is pretty good really...)

Now you can go purple by putting a tube onto it and sucking/blowing and reporting back with the extremes you can get to (don't spit in the tube though!)

Today’s presser is 1022 mb that’s amazing how accurate it is. I can suck it to about 50 KPa.
1 other thing, will the duel map switch work with a 9v battery?

Hello Luke,

Yes, you will be able to test the dual map functionality using a 9v battery as well. Be sure to use one of the techniques outlined in our installation guide for wiring the switch; See the operation guide on how to enable the feature in software & firmware.
