Fuel pump relay

Post by dan97019 »

I am running a megajolt/E with the edis 4 module and I was wondering if anyone has used a standard fuel pump relay that triggers off the tach. signal like this one ( https://www.revolutionelectronics.com/Fuel_Pump.html ) and had it work with the tach. signal pin 11 on the edis module.

I have tried using the user defined output 4 on the megajolt module to trigger a relay with no luck my understanding is that it should trigger to ground when active but I get nothing, I do however get some conductivity to ground when the unit is off but when its on I get nothing, the UDO lights in the configurator software do come on like they should. I would prefer to use the UDO's on the megajolt if someone can tell me what I am doing wrong it would have to be simple though because my electrical knowledge is limited.

You can do some simple testing with the engine running and configuring an output to activate an LED or relay.

The wiring is simple; we have it described here:

Please let us know how it goes. Thanks!
