Possibility of partial kit- need feedback

Post by brentp »

I understand there are problems obtaining key parts for the MJLJ in the UK & europe. However, many of the parts required are quite generic.

I would like to determine what would be the essential parts of a 'partial kit'. Can I get some assistance in this area?

Here are the candidates I'm aware of:

1. MAP sensor
2. Molex connector (male and female, + pins)
3. ??

Any other parts?

I've yet to find a UK supplier of the bulkhead connector for the MAP connection (at least not one that will sell them singly).

I had to preprogram my CPU to get the bootlader to run. Assume this will be the case for others. Used PE micro software and a home made programmer. Other than that all the components are available in the uk. I even sourced the pressure sensor here too.
