Can't upload maps and rev limiter

Post by KITT »

Hi Brent,

I've tried a couple of times to upload the map I'm currently using along with a link to all the others but keep getting an error:

"You exceeded the maximum submission rate. Please wait a few minutes and try again."

any ideas?

Also, you mentioned a while ago about implementing the rev limiter by retarding the ignition loads. Did you manage to include this in the beta version? I'll be testing the beta out in a couple of months on a rolling road (dyno) so will let you know the results regarding the advance interpollation.

cheers

Interpolation?

Hi Matt

Does that mean you are trialling the new beta firmware??

In a couple of months

Post by KITT »

I will be, but not until I've changed the camshaft and re-taxed it. Should trial it out in March on a rolling road (The Tipton Garage in Devon if you know it?). I'm going to order a new load of bits so I have 2 Megajolt ECUs and will compare the results.

Hopefully it'll work fine and I'll keep the beta unit and sell the other one to someone who can't/doesn't want to solder. But I need to test it on a rolling road to be sure it's all ok.

cheers

New firmware

Post by itguy »

Excellent Matt, I'll be really interested in your findings.

I have not had chance to go out in the car yet (not taxed either) so I am a bit nervous about putting the new firmware on yet.

Good idea about getting another kit together, someone will buy it - I can post it up for sale on the westfield forums (wscc) for you too if you need to advertise it.

Will.

I never doubted it would work

I never doubted it would work, but being a software developer I know the meaning of the words "beta version" ;o) Just like to test it all out in a controlled environment first.

Going back to the original question, any chance of the rev limiter appearing soon Brent?

cheers
