Jaguar 4.2 e-type HELP!

Installing MJ in my '66 e-type would like to hear from any one who has done one.
One issue is that the timing marks are for cyl#6 and I have used them for trigger wheel placement (milled harmonic balance) sooooo.... 6=1 and so on or......what?
Also there don't seem to be any advance curves posted on the AL site for the jag.
