1954 Plymouth Savoy Coupe

Post by Broke4speed »

New project time!
It might be a while before it's ready for Megajolt, but I'll go as fast as I can.

It's a 1954 Plymouth Savoy, running an inline flathead 6 putting out 110hp/190tq (well, I'm sure it did in 1954, lol). I am going to do a frame-up resto-mod on it. A few chassis tweaks, a conversion to 12v negative earth, and some period flathead go-fast (or a conversion to a slant-6 on triple webers and 904 automatic...which is sitting in a friends garage for me currently). Either way, I'm sticking to 6 cylinders, carbs, and megajolt. I found an EDIS-6 module the other day at the scrappers...so that's gotta be a sign ;).

It's currently 6v positive earth, running a generator, but I've decided to swap in the slant-6 so I need to go to a more conventional 12v negative earth anyway.
