Connecting LM-2 Wideband to Megajolt E

Post by bladerunner80 »

I was looking to connect my LM-2 Wideband O2 monitor to my megajolt e. I read a few topics on here that explain how to do this and also provide configuration files to get it set up. There is a note on the instructions that I have to "cut R6" on the megajolt board.

I have a couple questions about this:

1) The post was old, was this for earlier models? I found a more recent post about this that didn't reference having to cut R6. Here is the post:

http://www.autosportlabs.org/viewtopic. ... t=wideband

2) If it is needed, how do I do it? The picture I found on the install guides shows where to cut, but what exactly am I cutting or how do I perform the modification?

Thanks for your help!

Hi,

you can use a sharp implement to cut the trace, like the edge of a small screwdriver. Just look at the zoomed in picture and cut the trace shown.

Alternatively, you can remove the actual soldered part from the board if you have the right equipment.

Which traces get cut on the Rev F board? The ones directly below R6?
