Lost Newbee

Post by 4tl8ford »

I have all the parts pieces except for the trigger wheel, which is at the machine shop.
The EDIS/Megajolt is being installed on a 1952 Ford Truck with a Flathead 6 cyl in it with rotation to the right looking at the front of the engine .
My main confusion is the orientation of the missing tooth - TDC is zero degrees
I have to machine the Teeth into the crank pulley, This pulley is with the keyway 180 degrees from the top
Where is the missing tooth oriented for initial installation? a) At the top? - b0 60 degrees to the left - c) sixty degrees to the right
After looking at all the information floating around on the NET my mind is fried and I'm 67 years old and I can't remember what I made for breakfast
I would appreciate any help I can get

Thanks

Hi,

we have a comprehensive guide on setting the missing tooth in relation to the sensor and TDC of the engine - check it out here: http://www.autosportlabs.net/MJLJ_V4_ve ... tion_guide
