cheap data card

Post by drKorf »

ATT no longer has the gophone card for $15. The cheapest they have is a $25 card for 1 month of 2 Gb data. T-mobile has a $20 monthly card with 1 Gb data. Instead of doing these, I was able to add a new ATT SIM to my current account without an activation fee. It's $25 per month, but you can cancel whenever you want and they prorate the cost. So you could activate it on Friday and then deactivate it on Monday and be out only a couple bucks.

Thanks for the update.

I would check again with AT&T. The add-on cards which borrows data from your account, intended for tablets and other connected devices, should be just $10 for the data only plan.

With AT&T's superior service this is the best deal, providing you're already an AT&T customer.

In fact it was a $10 addition to my bill. Not sure why she told me it was $25.
