CAN BUS - 120 ohm terminator?

Making a custom CANBUS cable to start a data logging project for my BMW S1000RR - wanted to get clarification on the need for a 120 ohm termination.

If the RCP will live at the end of the Can Bus line, i assume there needs to be a resistor built in to keep the CAN BUS impedance correct. Is there one within the RCP box, or do i need to build one into my cable?

One note, i will be plugging into the CAN in place of another device, rather in the middle of the bus, so im thinking no...

RaceCapture is terminated with 120 ohms on both channel:
