No OBD2 data

Post by nkohler »

I am trying to get my RC setup and I am not getting OBD2 data from my 2003 Nissan 350z. In the logs I am seeing PID read fail 12 and 17. I have no issues reading OBD2 with my bluetooth scanner.

Any suggestions? RC is on the latest firmware and its internal status and gps is good.

Hi,

Bringing the conversation here. Looks like you were able to test on your 2006 jeep, let us know how the re-test works on your Z car again. Thanks for working with us on this!

Sorry for hitting you guys on so many mediums, season opener race is in 2 weeks and I am in crunch mode.

So the conclusion is that the cat5 cable provided has an issue. If I use my own it works on both the Jeep and Z. I will do a cable test on the provided black cable and let you know the results.

Great sleuthing, and sorry in advance if that cable had a problem - if so, it's a surprise something simple would have a problem. :-/

Thanks again, will watch for your update.

Yes, can you create another thread? This sounds like a unique and separate issue.
