This is a general question. How can we factory reset our Race Capture MK3 with all default setting. It would be great if some one explains all various method to do so.

Use a terminal program like Putty. Select the correct COM port needed to access your RCP. The COM port is determined automatically by the computer, just check to see which one it has decided to use.

IE, select COM3 if it is the one associated with the RCP.

One you connect via terminal, you will see a blank screen. Hit enter. The terminal will echo a list of commands that the RCP will accept. One of the commands at the top of the list is resetConfig. (or something like that)

Type the command in, case sensitive, and hit enter.

You'll lose connection as the RCP3 does a hard reset.
