Hello all!

Thought I would share some install pics from my e46 M3. So far it's all setup and the CAN is functioning with the AEM, and is powering on and off with the ECU via the AEMCANnet plug in my AEM PNP adapter for the e46 M3.

So far it's been a super easy install! Just working out a few kinks on trying to get everything into my solo storm + triggering my go pro. Thoughts? I can not find any guides for the mk3 on setting up gopro triggers via wifi. I am assuming that is the only way, since the SoloStorm needs bluetooth for GPS, and WIFI hotspot for the CAN data. That means the SoloStorm can not trigger the gopro anymore. Can anyone point me to the GoPro setup for the RCPmk3 please?

Enjoy!

Hi Kai,

I use a similar setup in my BSP miata.

Megasquirt Can >> RCP Mk3
Rcp Mk3 >>> via bluetooth to SoloStorm incl several RCP channels.
Wifi Go-Pro linked to solostorm.

Why does CAN have to be wifi?

Not sure if you'll come back to this, but ideally you want to convert your steering channel to actual steering angle at the outside wheel. Just downloaded some of your solostorm logs since I knew you had a racecapture and likely steering data.

Yup, I'd go with Canyonfive's advice as well. Better note it down, OP.
