Post Best way to move users folder to another partition ?
Hello, EDIT: I am on Windows 7 pro sp1 x64

I know there is already a lot of thread about this topic but I want to ask a more precise question ?
I want to move all files that have high r/w cycles from main partition so as not to mess up the os (tmp, pagefile, user data...) Too bad it seems program files can't be moved to another partition.

There is several ways to move users folders or individual user to another partition:

-A way in which you copy the data and edit registry
-A way you robocopy all files, delete originals, create a symlink or junction. do a system repair.
-A way you change some value path in registry or whatever and then create a new account from dummy account and revert back registry path value and delete dummy account. (I don't remember how to do this last one if you can give some link or informations)

But what is the best way to do this that doesn't forbid later updates from ms or create problems

I didn't find the right solution from the internet.
