How does one customize the gages in podium? Have an event this coming weekend and want to throw a few more gages than the default.

Thanks!

At the moment, the gauges only show up for the fixed, known channel names; the rest show up as digital gauges. We're working on improving that in the future with a fully customizable experience. Watch for it in early 2018!

This is something I really need to be able to do. I have a lot of data (finally got all my bugs worked out and the data looks good). Just need to be able to customize the layout and format of this stuff so that watching it in the pits is much easier.

What would be nice is something similar to the tablet layout in graphical format or just the data, user preference.

THanks for all your hard work,

Where do I get the list of the "Fixed Known Channel Names" ????

Hi,

In the RaceCapture app, press the button where-ever you see a channel name selector - such as the analog channels, or Timer/Pulse channels, and etc. This list you see are the canonical list of standard channel names. Use these where you can.

Example: Choose the suggested default EngineTemp channel instead of naming the channel "ETemp".

Hope this helps,

Has there been any update on the customization of the telemetry layout/gauges?

Thank you,

Hi, yes - there has been much progress! What you are asking for is part of a much bigger set of improvements. We are working towards a reveal via a demo video. We will post here when ready, in addition to our blog and social media.

It's been a ton of work, but will be worth it. Watch for it!
