Can anyone tell me if the Radio Shack Part # 276-2009, MPS2222A NPN Transistor or Radio Shack Part # 276-1617 NPN -Type Switching Transistor will work in place of the PN 2222AD26ZCT-ND Transistor?

The RadioShack 276-2009 should work fine for this. Interestingly, a lot of the standard Radio Shack parts would work fine in the MJLJ- that wasn't necessarily by design, but it worked out that way!
