Stuck Searching for Bootloader

Post by wbdata »

I'm trying to update firmware on Pro4 from 2.20.0 with windows 11 laptop with RC 2.19.0 software. When I try it says "initializing" then "searching for bootloader", the orange light starts flashing, but nothing more happens. I've tried this so many times that I forget what the longest amount of time I gave it at that screen was but I believe at least 5-10min. I've tried running RC as admin, plugging in USB once it already says "searching for bootloader", the alternative method below, etc. I see there used to be a browser utility, then I found there used to be some tool downloaded with the firmware, but I couldn't find either of those.

Hi, please try the following:

* Use the USB cable that shipped with the unit; some USB cables are marginal and may not work correctly.
* Try a different computer - Windows, MacOS, and Linux are supported.

Thanks, please let us know how it worked out.
